What attracted you to join the CFM Camping Committee? I was invited to be the inaugural Chairperson because I was on the then Commission for Mission. A CFM member was required to be that chairperson. Having said that, I guess I was also invited because I am passionate about the possibilities of Camping in many and most of its guises. It was camping that gave me a great start into any maturity that I now possess. Camping in this age is significantly different in many ways from its manifestation of forty plus years ago; however, the possibilities are greater but include all the wholesome and other experiences one first had in the camping families and sites.
My Mother and father always told me…. don’t mix politics religion and camping: each will turn the other sour.
Cats or Dogs? dogs: Calypso 12 and Lottie 9.
My greatest fear is… being late for the Last Trumpet.
My earliest memory is…… asking for a little sister and getting one.
If you were not a minister what do you think you would be…. I’m a fiction writer in the budding.
If only I could……. fill our campsites.
At school I….. was the only bloke (bass) in the School choir.
My happiest moment…. was completing my family wife (Robin) and two children (Kate and Andrew)
I often wonder……. at the crazy mixes in life Happiness and sadness; Joy and grief; Beauty and suffering; Life and death; Living death and raised life; Darkness and light; Chaos and order: all or most of which are always present in this God given life.
