The Log Cabin Camp team is thrilled to announce the successful acquisition of Adekate Camp! Our team is excited to build upon the foundations that have been laid over the years by many dedicated UC Camping staff and volunteers.

This historic gem will soon undergo a renovation and be ready to welcome guests from Term 2, 2024. Both self-catered and catered bookings will be available.

Nestled on 130 acres of pristine bushland, brimming with native flora and fauna, Adekate Camp is a true natural wonder. Its multiple walking trails invite exploration, while the serene surroundings leave a lasting impression.

Conveniently located near Ballarat, Adekate Camp is the perfect base for school excursions to Sovereign Hill, The Ballarat Wildlife Park, and Kryal Castle.

Our planned initial activities include bushwalking, billy tea and damper, photo find, archery, basketball, zipline, initiative challenges, giant slingshot, gaga pit, possum glider, milk crate stacking, and the thrilling leap of faith. And that’s just the beginning – stay tuned for future mountain biking trails.

Adekate Camp will be available for sole occupancy, accommodating up to 90 campers initially, then expanding up to 120 campers in Stage 2.
